Input Expander provides expansion of 2 goups of 8 digital inputs, it means 16 optocoupled inputs. There is possible to connect up to 8 Input/Output Expanders on the bus to get up to 128 in/out.

Input Expander is divided to two independent groups of 8 inputs, addresable by DIP switch. Control Unit software inform you realtime about the inputs state. Input Expander is powered from HERMES system bus and the bus pass through the unit to be able for another unit.
